Group Petition International Body,FG Others on Activities of One IBD DENDE

          Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun (a.k.a IBD Dende)

A group , Concerned Frontier Group has written a petition against one personality to International fora, Federal Government and relevant stakeholders concerning   Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun ( (a.k.a IBD Dende) for his alleged notorious activities as a smuggler,  gunrunner, treat to national security and economy .

According to the statement signed by the group leadership, Chief Raymond Salaja and Mrs Kemi Adekeye, Chairman and the secretary of the organisation respectively said the activities of this individual have effect dent on the nation's image globally.

Noting that the Ilaro born man has been in this illicit businesses over a period of time with aid and connection from power that be in the country without any caution , or serious checks on his activities in this regard.

The statement further stated that IBD Dende as he is been referred,has continually perpetrated and participate in series of smuggling activities especially around Idiroko, Oja-Odan,Ilaro and other related axis unchecked by the related relevant authorities like Custom Services, Immigration and others.

 Information revealed that , IBD Dende has been classified as  SPECIAL CLASS which activities continues to have great negative effects on the nation's economy.

Also that his activities in his community, Yewaland,Ilaro where he built  5-star hotel and allegedly perpetrating other illegal businesses  which have become a threat to the lives of residents in the community.

Adding that, IBD Dende who has been in this business of importing and exporting, estate business,automobile selling amongst others have been a frontier at bringing some illegal commodities like arms , ammunition and drugs into the country, and he was fingered to be fronting for some important personalities in the country.

Alhaji Dende clearly has his space to himself,a typical of someone who lives above the Law and dictates to constituted authorities.

The group further posit that While he, IBD Dende has continued to be boasting all around as "POWERFUL UNTOUCHABLE AND WELL CONNECTED" This actions he has been exhibiting that all his smuggling activities in this  axis especially covered by FoU zone A Custom Services  can not be checked or stopped.

It is important the activities of people like Alhaji Dende is thoroughly investigated if the influx of the various contraband items  such as arms, ammunition, and drugs been smuggled into the country are to be checkmated . The level of high rates of crimes like kidnapping, armed robbery and other related vices will be at low,ebb in the country.

While there were allegations that Media practitioners in the country, Nigeria have been completely silent concerning activities of this single man that have been plunging the nation into disrepute globally .

Concerned Frontier Group therefore implore for widely publication on this matter by concerned various media houses both home and abroad as relevant documents  were attached for clarity and backing up their claims noting that  is of global interest.
