Kebbi State Government Appoints New District Head of Dumbegu... Creates Six Villages

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris has approved the appointment of Abdulsalam Muhammad as the new District Head of Dumbegu (Bunun Dumbegu) and created six villages in Jega Local Government Area.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Garba Umar Dutsin-Mari, made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi .
He quoted the Kebbi State Local Government Law 2008 section 10 sub-section (a) and (b) that the Jega local Government had resolved to create Dumbegu District and six village area out of the present Jega District.
He added that the new six created village include; Dan Galadiman, Dumbegu ta Kudu, Dumbegu ta Yamma, Unguwar Alu, Unguwar Garji, Unguwar Dan Maimuna and Unguwar Na-Gindi
He thanked the present administration in the state under the able leadership of Dr Nasir Idris for the appointment as well as the support always given to the traditional institutions in the state.
He also urged the new District Head to be committed to his responsibility by ensuring peace and harmony in his domain.
